Friendfeed debuted live updates during last nights televised presidential debate. The real time view offers comments, posts and pictures at the top of a users feed as they are posted.
For last nights debate over 500 people joined the 2008 debate room and participated in live real time comments as the debate was going on.
Once the debate started rolling the comments were coming in so fast it was hard to read most of the comments and follow the debate
The live view works for every list and view on Friendfeed
It’s fun to watch and experiment with new services aimed at capturing comments real time on events as they happen. This is the wave of the future and over time will evolve into something that is part of everyday life
